This newest body of work, currently in development, explores the transformative potential of endings. Breakups, fractured friendships, and unexpected partings often feel like loss, but they also hold the possibility of reconstruction.
This series examines how we can take what did not work, extract the elements that foster growth, and release what no longer serves us. Rather than discarding the past, I physically return to it.
The works are constructed from earlier pieces that were never previously exhibited. I disassemble these unfinished or unresolved works, fragmenting them and reassembling their parts into new compositions. Through cutting, layering, and re-collaging, I create visual metaphors for emotional repair and renewal.
Nothing is wasted. What once felt incomplete becomes foundational. The process mirrors emotional resilience: we keep what strengthens us, release what limits us, and build forward from what remains.
